The Marketing Strategy implementation program has been structured to enhance ease of use. Actions are arranged in a hierarchical system that links each action to a goal, each goal to a strategy element. The three Strategy elements are Organize, Communicate, and Build. Actions are listed in a tabular format at the beginning of each goal section (for both first year and longer term projects, organized separately). Some key projects (underlined in the tables) require additional details and are described on their own individual page. (Reach them by clicking on the underlined action in each table.) Key project pages include headers that identify where you are in the hierarchy. Within each header, timing information is noted at the right, together with a notation of whether or not the action is a one-time activity or is expected to be ongoing. A notation is provided in the header, right side, when an action may benefit from technical or financial resources. The reader may click on the notation to be taken to the appropriate section of the Resource Inventory provided in the Support Tab. Over 140 potential resources are listed in eight distinct categories:
Note that actions are organized in two sections: First Year Actions; Long-term Actions. The overall structure is the same; only timing is different for the two. This formatting of action details provides the implementation team with a succinct outline of “who, what, when, where, and how” to guide future programming. |
